Currently, Yugra State University is one of the youngest and most dynamically developing state universities in Russia. The mission of Yugra State University is to provide education and research for solving complex problems of high-tech industries.

It is a leading university in the regional market of education, that provides training of specialists in all levels of professional education: secondary vocational, higher and postgraduate; it has more than 2 thousand graduates every year.

Foreign citizens and compatriots living abroad can be admitted to the university on an equal basis with Russian citizens, if they confirm the status of a compatriot and pass the appropriate exams in the form of testing. Admission is also possible within the Quota allocated by the Government of the Russian Federation for training foreign citizens and at the expense of foreign citizens' own funds (on a commercial basis).
